Who this policy covers

This policy describes the Intent Builders website and enquiries about our construction services. Intent Builders is based in Kalama, Washington. Dave Holmstrom is your contact for questions about this policy.

It does not describe the independent practices of websites you visit through external links, or replace the terms of a construction agreement.

Information you provide

When you submit a project enquiry, the form collects your name, email address, property town or area, project type, project message and acknowledgement that we may respond. It also collects your phone number, preferred timeframe and approximate budget if you choose to provide them.

Contacting us by email or telephone provides the information you share in that conversation. Please send only information relevant to your project. Do not put payment-card details, passwords, government identification numbers or other sensitive records in the website form.

How information is used

Enquiry information is used to understand the work you are considering, discuss whether the project and location are a fit, respond to your questions and coordinate the next steps you request. It may also be used to keep a record of those communications and address operational or legal issues connected with them.

Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter or an automated marketing sequence. The current website has no marketing mailing-list signup.

Service providers and sharing

The website is hosted on Netlify. The enquiry form uses Netlify Forms to receive and store submissions, and an email notification is configured for Dave at dave@intentbuilds.com. Copies may therefore exist in the form dashboard and the business email system.

Authorized website administrators and service providers may have access needed to host, maintain or support the site and enquiry workflow. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or where necessary to address misuse, security concerns or a legal claim.

Service providers operate under their own terms and privacy information. See Netlify’s Privacy Policy. Information handled by these services may be processed outside your state or country.

Technical information and external links

Hosting and security services may process technical request information such as an IP address, requested page, browser information and request time to deliver and protect the website.

The current landing page does not include advertising pixels, a live Google review widget or a client-side analytics tracker. Reviews displayed on the page are selected, stored excerpts rather than a live connection to your Google account. Links to Google, registration records or other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices.

Retention and security

Enquiry records may be kept while an enquiry is being considered, during a resulting project, and where needed for related business records, warranty matters or legal obligations. The retention period can depend on the type of record and the relationship; submitting this form does not set a fixed deletion date.

You can ask about the records held about you or request deletion using the contact details below. Some records may need to be retained for ongoing work or legal reasons. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices

You can choose not to complete optional form fields or contact Dave by phone instead. Without a way to contact you and basic project details, it may not be possible to respond meaningfully.

To request access to, correction of or deletion of information you supplied, email Dave with enough detail to identify your enquiry. We may need to verify that the request concerns your information. Any rights available under applicable law remain in effect.

This website is intended for people considering construction services, not for children to submit personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has supplied information through the form.
