Family-led and based in Kalama since 2021. Dave handles your questions, pricing and project decisions. His son Reese leads the crew on site, with daily cleanup and care for your property.

Dave HolmstromYour builder & main contact

Dave began in his father’s remodeling business, completing a carpentry apprenticeship and journeyman qualification. His experience includes residential framing, Intel clean rooms and Turner Construction.

He handles your first conversation, construction pricing and project communication by email and text.

Reese HolmstromYour crew’s foreman

Reese leads the crew on site and works alongside family members. Respectful conduct and care for your property are part of the way they work.

Dave remains your main client contact throughout the project.

Do I need finished plans before I call?

No. Start with your property, priorities and budget. If you need plans, Dave can connect you with an independent home designer and discuss construction pricing as the drawings develop.

How do we know whether our budget fits?

Discuss what you want to build and what you want to spend with Dave first. He works backward from your budget to a realistic scope and builds the proposal line by line in JobTread.

Do you take on additions and remodels?

Yes. Intent Builders takes on home additions and residential remodels as well as custom homes. Share your existing layout and what you want to change so Dave can discuss the scope with you.

Who will I communicate with during the project?

Dave is your main contact for project conversations, pricing and communication. Reese is the crew’s foreman. Current project communication is by email and text.

Where do you build?

Intent Builders is based in Kalama, Washington. Include your property’s town or area when you enquire so Dave can confirm whether the location and project are a fit.
